caught a funny post-game interview with ronaldo on youtube that was rather old... By ronaldo I mean Cristiano you know, the one you girls only know for his looks and prentend to know about his footballing ability? But thats another story..
Anyway. He's trying hard to speak good English, but he's still unable to understand questions!

Interviewer (if there's such a word): Cristiano Ronaldo, you scored a wonderful free-kick today, but, did you intend to make the ball swerve as much as it did?
Ronaldo: Uh, yes, I practise it alot in training.. (some similiar gibberish).. I scored today and I'm happy
Interviewer: Umm, okay, so do you practise that swerve in training?
Ronaldo: ya, I do alot of free kicks in training and I scored today and I'm very happy..

Hello? Ronaldo? What happened to 'did you intend to swerve?' and 'do you practise swerves?"
Hahahahaha. But kudos to him for learning English as quickly as he did, although he is abit slow compared to other foreigners like Van Nistelrooy.. He speaks english so fluently it scares me.. Maybe its a Dutch thing... wells..
