well today had to go ALL the way to CGH to send in my photocopy of my bankbook to ward 18.
stuff's changed there. There's NYP nurses there now who look glum n dull all the way. And alot of patients moved bed. Was surprised to see EDDY in bed 7 and he's going home today. Well not to HIS home, but to Banyan home I think. He looks slimmer now. No more the 160kg man I knew. The 'bags' under his chin are not so obvious anymore and overall his whole body doesn't look as red and swollen as before. Next, another long-term patient, Isham, seems to be getting better and better. His cognitive functioning is superb. 2 weeks ago he couldnt do all the tests the doctors gave him, and today, I saw him do a WHOLE bunch of word puzzles, crosswords etc.. I'm very happy for him. And his speech is more coherent now. Wonderful.
