Let's say in the now almost 100% unlikely case that my brother
bothers me while I'm praying rite, I will always be tempted to laugh,
and then whack my brother for disturbing me.

But, I make myself angry on purpose, and that keeps me concentrating.
Cool eh?

I finally realize I use my anger and convert it to benefit me.
Excellent. No wonder I'm so happy all the time.
Though I don't actually show it unless I speak.

I managed to come home early today for the first time in weeks..
Played NFS from 2 to 6.. satisfaction..

anyway.. guess what happened to me yesterday..

I was getting the train home like usual at clementi right?
Was only me, Julien and Jo there.
After I tapped my Ez-link card and proceeded to the escalator,
some guy apparently called me to stop.
And 'chased' after me but I hadalready got on the escalator.
Guess what. It was a security officer.
He wanted to check my bag.

I gave him a blank look and continued on my way to wait for the train.

My bag is ONLY 32L.
You think I'd need a bigger bag to store bombs in?
And it was flat. Virtually empty.
Sure I praise the guy's 'awareness', but COME ON.
A 17yr old kid who looks 15 walking with his buds?

Imagine me, Mirza, the student nurse who loves to help people, blowing trains up. Weeee.
Great fun.

OH well..
the fact that NR is done with makes me happy enuf to forget that....

Lesse.. School.
After 5. Spent the time with the boys.
Attempted to do NR stuff.
Ended up talking religious stuff.

Anyhoo, went to blk 81 at arnd 830 to meet Hariz, Ghaz n Arif.
Had a few laughs then off to home for me.

Did I mention Ghazaly is the funniest guy I ever met?

finally, NP Open House is over. It was an OK 3 days I guess.
My booth was a teeny bit disorganized but everything went smoothly.
We coped with the traffic well though. =P

Let's see. NPOB Booth.
3 Tents. 1 has photos. 1 has camping equipment. 1 has Misc OB stuff.
Knots & Outdoor Cooking display. With free food to boot.
Darts and Chopstick game.
An adequate gateway with 3 different banners saying "Ngee Ann Outward Bounders"

Great stuff..
Spent the three days making myself look important, going to block 81 to disturb the nurses helping out, and forced them to publicise OB for me.. Haha.
Anyhoo, glad that's all over. A pity I didnt see any Temasekians. All prolly went to TP. Hmph.


Now to dedicate my whole Sunday, Monday & Tuesday to doing NR. Idiot.

The superficial world is fast leaving me behind.

its saturday today..
Tmr is my Dad's 43 birthday...
Still 'young' and as muscular as ever..

Guess what he'll get for a belated birthday present the following day?

A trip to Singapore General Hosiptal to remove lumps in his arms..
Cool eh?
His condition is called lipoma.
Its not cancerous, yet.
So he'll remove 'em.
Excellent.

Anyway, yesterdays OB trg was GREAT.
It was raining. Weather was cool.
We did three rounds of physical conditioning.
Han Bin led the trg.

Hundreds of push-ups, crunches, jumping jacks. Excellent stuff
Kelvin then led us on a complicated indoor run.
Turned here n there. Around this pillar.
Down those stairs. Great great great.
For the finale, we all did 5 sets of BLOOD BROTHERS

just in case you don't know what that is, its where everyone stands in a circle, cross shoulders for a tight grip. Then with everyones' right or left leg in front, you bend down together.
Teamwork could not be more strongly emphasised here.
Its a knee crushing game.

But last nights was "special"
We all SCREAMED from ONE to TWENTY.
And MJ started this cool thing.
At fifteen, he just screamed.
We all decided that was so damned cool, we did it together for the next 4 sets.
Thats was damn exhilrating...

OB is so much fun.

anyway,been in many transport problems lately.

Tuesday, I took 74 and 87 home.
Not counting time spent in btween with Zuli,
That was supremely long.

Yesterday, I slept in the Train. I woke up on the return trip at Simei.
That's almost 30mins of extra train time..

Today. I got stuck all the way on PIE..

Here was how the car trip went.
Mind you, it's raining heavily the WHOLE way...

left home at 0645
first, we drop of my bro at BVSS.
then my sis at BGPS
then my mom at Bedok Interchange
then my sis at BGSS, where she insists we go to the school.
That caused a 20min delay..
Then me and my dad are on the wonderful PIE
Then we get stuck at Eunos Link.
I sms Joseph I'll be abit late.
At 0830 I'm stuck at Eng Neo.
0915. I'm here.

My dad is late for work by an hour and a half..
He's lucky he's a high ranking guy..

oh wellll.....

I think I'm born into a very PMS-y family, including the dad...

I came home late with no valid reason...
9pm btw, is the wrong time to come home if you dont have project or OB meetings.. haha

Lets not discuss why I'm not allowed home late..
PAthetic I know, just like me..

Anyways, I told my dad I accompanied a friend, in this case, Zuli, to buy stuff...
He scolded me for mising prayers and stuff, which I didnt by the way...
He waited for the perfect moment to lecture me..
Not when I came home, but after I bathed, while still half-naked in a towel..
Lecture2 for 20mins.

After I got ready, he became cheerful, made an omelette for me, and gave me one of his many POLICE tees... Odd I tell ya.. Odd.. Funny though...

Oh well...

first day of the term.

We did not actually need to come for pharmacology at 9.
Joseph was vulnerable.
I got 35/40 for SAWI assignment.
I went for OB open house meeting and planned a superb booth.

Good stuff. Tmr school starts at 11. Excellent.

school is tmr.. finally.. time for the stress to pile on..

let's see how the least stressed person in school handles the new term. More projects. More CCA. =)

today I went to Chai Chee, where Sunlove Home had a mini-function.. Ngee Ann Outward Bounders got a plaque representing our contribution to the home..

Now, officially, we are the primary organizers for Sunlove's end-of-year camp, hopefully for many years to come....

I can't believe how heavily I'm involved in my CCA... After planning the Sunlove camp, I'm now in the sub-com for Open House... crap.

I sure hope it doesnt affect my studies now that I'm playing a more important role in NPOB.. :)

Btw, I'm typing REAL slowly now, cause I'm typing only left-handed... My dad decided to have a sparring session with me.. Usually I will tell him to go away and stuff, bt now I can put up a good fight so we went ahead... But as luck would have it, he ended up throwing me to the ground hard and practically crushed my wrist. Thank God its not broken. peesh..
