For all the complaints I get from my female friends on how FAT they are.
And me "advising" some.
I'm the one who ends up growing 2 inches at the waist.
Not alot.
I need it.

Urgh.

Inevitably.
The holiday routine post.
As DETAILED as I can be.

6.30am - Wake Up
6.35am - Wash Hands, Wash Face, Brush Teeth, Pee, Cleanse myself for Subuh
6.45am - Subuh
7.00am - Down at least 1L of fluid, usually a mix of coffee, plain water, and juice.
7.30am - Run / Breakfast if not running
8.15am - Laptop is turned on.
The following is done in order:
Open iTunes.
Log on MSN.
Check Mail.
Check for new tags on Blog.
Check for new messages on DA.
Bloghop.
Browse iTunes for a song I want to play or learn.
Guitar appears on my lap.
Song playing begins.
Plays 4 or 5 songs.
Puts guitar behind head, on sofa.
Gets up to go get bottle of water.
Pee break.
Opens FIFA08.
Plays 2 or 3 games from Manager Mode.
Plays CnC Generals:Zero Hour. 2 or 3 skirmishes.
Opens picture folder and browses for any photos to edit.
Edit and upload. If not, laptop is closed.
10.00am - Workout + Bath
11.00am - Lunch
11.30am - ALLUC. Watch Frasier.
1.30pm - Zuhur.
1.45pm - Turns on TV.
4.30pm - Asar
4.45pm - Light workout + Tea Time
5.30pm - Dinner + Chores until after Maghrib
8.00pm - Idling in front of Laptop until late (plus Isyak somewhere in between)
2.00am? - Sleep

Well, as it turns out, yesterday was exactly what I needed to cure my insomnia.
I slept like a baby.
Hah.

Yesterday was spent trying out games which the so called npob facilitators came up with. Loads of ideas, not all creative but fun nonetheless.
Yes. Fun.
Something I havent had in a long time with plenty of OB people around.

And Shujuan gave me a bruised arm and thigh, from pinching and smacking it respectively.
Not that it hurts, but it just makes the abuse more obvious.
Nevermind. Whatever makes you happy. =)

Can we get too into a TV Show?
So much so that we link stuff that happens to you to the show.
Some of which can be very weird.

In my case, I've been rewatching The OC.
Yesterday, I started Season 4.
And this season, near the start, Ryan is having sleeping problems because of events from last season. He thinks too much and just can't bring himself to sleep.

I havent told anyone (or I MAY have lied), but I haven't slept for three days.
And I still feel as awake as ever. And I just found it odd that I'm watching the show and the same happens. COINCIDENCE, YES I KNOW. NO REMINDER NEEDED.

And unfortunately, The OC is a hard show to stop watching for me.
For personal reasons though.
Hah.







But anyway, I fell asleep today, for four hours.
Magic.

I'm back to my bumming routine.
And today I added in being a slob.

Today's routine has been me permanently glued to the chair in my room.

• Watched episodes 17 to 25 Of season 3 of The OC
  
• Played a few rounds of CnC in between episodes
  
• My guitar permanently plugged into the amp, and played in between episodes as well
  
• Food has mainly involved a rather hearty breakfast, which went to waste with me sitting in front of the laptop instead of running today. Then again, today isn't a running day. Also, at least 4 servings of the noodles cooked today, finished up some ice cream, grilled cheese sandwichES, random biscuits and 5 or 6 different flavoured jellies. No worries people, you'll see the same old frail (yea right) built when school reopens. Heh.

BUT anyway, there is ONE good thing at least happening today
And that IS, Ying Jia's 20th birthday!
Today's gonna be a blast for you.
And I hope you're not disappointed I didn't meet you in the morning.
Not that you should be, but just in case. =P

When I look back.
I realize.

I actually miss the times when I was a loner.
(and a total loser too, IMO =P)
My best friends were Death Cab For Cutie,
Rooney, Interpol, The Strokes, and Arctic Monkeys.
When I lied down in front of the Playstation, which is spoilt now, for hours a day, playing 2 or 3 different games.

Yup.
Back when I wasn't trying to do too many things, or pleasing too many people.
Not saying that I'm doing all that at the moment, but it seems like that's how it is now.

I'm still sort of a loner now, just with many more friends.
Oh well .

And so.
Its ended, for now.

To "celebrate", Zah, zee, joel and myself hopped over to Breeks at Eastpoint
for a little lunch.

Had myself a little baked dory with mushroom cream sauce.
wonderfully brilliant.

And we shared a massive attack ice cream.
We challenged each other to slurp it up and see who got brainfreeze first.
And odd enough, Zee was the last.
He slurped all that sugar down.
We were afraid he might just collapse there.
And indeed, he had a sigar rush, by acting crazy after that.

Fun stuff.
We agreed that we didnt really get a chance to thank the staff properly cause we were sorta rushed out of the ward by Jo Koh.
Oh wells.
Back to that hospital again in September or October.
Gonna make full use of the next 4 weeks and the coming school semester.

*lets out a big breath*

Attachments are coming to an end.
Its been a great 3 weeks.
Brilliant staff.
Weird patients.
Code Blues.
SMU.

Well, obviously, I passed and will get to go to Year 3.
Though I found it odd Jo Koh shook our hands on that.
Oh well.
I'm not resting easy.
I'm expecting to be severely disappointed this Friday, when results come out.
And I'd just die if I fail Nursing Research.
There's the chance.
And doesn't look like merely a slim chance of failing.
Pardon the pessimism.
I'll know when to be an optimist.
Now's not the time.

Looks like I can't look forward to the rest of the 4 weeks remaining.
Not yet anyway.
I got some stuff planned.
Namely a well deserved ice cream treat with certain implicated OB members.
And another thing that doesnt need to be elaborated on here. =)

But if anything at all, I can look forward to watching non-stop TV Shows online.
Will RE-finish The OC, followed by every single bit of CSI I guess.
Yup.

It's kinda making me paranoid walking home from the hospital at night and constantly looking behind my back.
And no, our dear friend who's on the loose after escaping isn't my BIGGEST worry.
It is, but not the worst.

How DO people age nicely?

I have this Staff Nurse in my ward.
She's about 50? 55?
Looks like it.
But I'd bet anything she was extremely pretty when she was younger.
Not that she ain't now.
Still is.
Just old, that's all.
(I have Hawa to back me up on this. =P)

Anyway.
I wonder how she manages to do that.
Age nicely.
Lifestyle?
Genes?
Or is it just hiding other stuff?
What secrets does a person who ages well have?
Like.
This particular SN always has a permanent tiredness in her face.
Hmm.
