Woohoo, so National Day beckoned yet again.
I decided to head out with a few fellas to watch the fireworks.
So, the day in pictures and captions shall we?

Huishi didn't join us for lunch though.
After Popeye's we headed back to my place to hang around for awhile.

As usual, it was the PS3, the TV, and the pets that were the order of the day.
So after hanging around long enough, we left for the City.

Everywhere else was too crowded.
We then made our way to Marina Square, opposite the Esplanade.
decided there wasn't enough space, so we decided to switch locations.
We ended up back at the same place just as the fireworks were about to begin.
How horrendously adventurous.
Nothing spectecular this year.
And the SMOKE was insatiable.
It made for lousy photos.
Kate was a unhappy DSLR just now.
Hah.
So, to appease her, we decided to find somewhere to hide.
After much pushing and shoving (with my tripod at times)
we came across a nice grass patch.

First photo: I block Huishi's right arm poke and try to kick her.
Second Photo: She changes arms, jabs me, and I go flying before I can kick.
So we then got bored, and people needed to rush home, so decided to make a final stop at Fountain of Wealth for a few more photos.
Home after that.
Was a fun day yeah.
Got crazy with all the photo-taking and what not.
